  • [icon] Smile Quilts

Smile Quilts (Virtual On-Line Quilts) was the first site of its kind for children with severe illnesses and injuries. Each one of these children suffers from a life-long life threatening, or terminal illness/injury. We want to help bring a little happiness into their lives and show them just how important and special they are. Each virtual quilt is personalized for each child by including their pictures, favorite colors, special interests, and their family members. Each Smile Quilt also has a unique one of a kind poem, crafted to fit each child's interests or personality, by one of our own Quilting Angels. These quilts are created with love and devotion to the children and their families. We hope you enjoy them. (Established in June of 2001, by Maria (MercyFaith) Hill)

  • [icon] Bandaides and Blackboards

This is a site about growing up with medical problems and its goal is to help people understand what it's like, from the perspective of the children and teens who are living it. These kids have become experts at coping with problems that most of us have never heard of. They'd like us to know how they do it, and they hope that you'll be glad you came to visit. Contents are divided into three ponds; one for kids, one for teens, and one for adults. This is a unique and wonderfully entertaining, informative site. Thank you so much, Joan Fleitas, Ed.D., R.N.

    Shane's Inspiration - Griffith Park

Research, creativity, hard work and community support combined to form an extraordinary and universally accessible 25,000 square-foot playground, "Jonathan's Dream." Opened in 1996, it is the first Boundless Playgrounds children's park and serves as a model for others. A small article in Time Magazine resulted in hundreds of inquiries from throughout Connecticut, the United States and four foreign countries. In 1997, Boundless Playgrounds was formed in response to this outpouring of calls for assistance. Boundless Playgrounds was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1998 and began to provide design services to communities throughout the United States and Canada.

Proud Member The Chain Of Life

Annually people gather around the world on a certain day, to hold signs and pray for an end to abortion.   It's a mass public witness for the unborn.   We at Granny's Loft don't wait for a special day, we campaign every day and in every way.

It's our firm belief that “Adoption, is the Loving Option,” “Abortion Hurts Women,” “Abortion is Murder,” “Life: The First Inalienable Right,” and “Jesus Forgives and Heals.”   We also pray and ask God to end the scourge of abortion that has taken more than 40 million lives in America since 1973 when the Supreme Court declared laws against abortion to be unconstitutional.   Please click on banner above for further information.

  • [icon] AMBER ALERT

My name is Bryant Harper. This Summer (August 2002) I have been horrified by the viciousness of what seems like an epidemic of child abductions around the United States and recently in the UK. In response to these crimes we have developed the Code Amber Alert Ticker to provide every web site owner with the ability to display Amber Alerts on their site by adding our Alert Ticker. The Ticker is a single line of code that loads a Java Script from our server that is updated anytime we are notified of an Amber Alert. We would like to have the Ticker on 2,000,000 Sites by the end of 2002. Please help by adding the Ticker to your site today. Together we can make a difference. AmberAlert.com
